Chuanjiang town in Tongzhou sees progress in project attraction
Chuanjiang town in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has made strides in attracting new projects this year. Since the second quarter, the town has secured contracts for five key projects, with an additional six projects currently under negotiation.
One of the projects is the construction of Mercury Home Textiles' headquarters. With a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($412.19 million) and covering an area of approximately 300 mu (20 hectares), the project aims to further expand the company's expertise in research and development, design, live streaming, production, warehousing, and supply chain integration.
The first phase of the project involves an investment of 2 billion yuan. It is expected to generate sales turnover of 5 billion yuan, while the second phase is projected to achieve sales turnover of 10 billion yuan.
In addition, Mars Testing Technology (Suzhou) Co Ltd plans to invest 100 million yuan in Chuanjiang to establish a production base of testing equipment and a special optical fiber equipment project. The project is anticipated to generate an annual taxable sales of 120 million yuan and pay about 7 million yuan in annual taxes.
Chuanjiang has signed agreements for two domestic projects each worth from 1 to 5 billion yuan and one foreign-funded investment project worth over $30 million.
