NETDA unveils measures to optimize business environment
The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province released an action plan aimed at creating a better business environment at a news conference on July 28.
According to the plan, authorities will implement 35 measures, including canceling or further lowering entry thresholds, opening special service windows, and establishing a special task force, to provide better services to entrepreneurs.
The area launched a mini app entitled "能达E企通" in March, through which enterprises can apply for subsidies. To date, more than 700 companies have received 100 million yuan ($139,646) in subsidies through the platform.
In addition, authorities have expanded offerings at the departure lounge of the Nantong Airport that was inaugurated on June 28, 2022, and provide customized services to top talent holding a doctoral degree, investors in major projects, and entrepreneurs who are among the area's top 100 taxpayers.
After eligible customers register on the account and fill in their flight information, a staff member at the departure lounge will provide assistance with flight matters. These individuals will also get access to VIP lounges.
The departure lounge also provides real-time flight information and services related to the booking of tickets, check-in, priority access, pick-up and drop-off.
The departure lounge's establishment is a major step in improving the area's business environment, according to authorities.
