Rudong county in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has attached great importance to getting companies listed and has created a favorable atmosphere for promoting more local enterprises to enter the capital market in recent years.

The county currently is home to six listed companies and 12 companies preparing to list.

The Rudong Economic Development Zone, which is also known as the Rudong High-tech Zone, is home to more than half of the listed companies in the county, including four listed companies and five companies preparing to list.

Moreover, a group of companies covering multiple industrial sectors such as new energy, new materials, petroleum machinery, and medical devices has been approved to go public after making required rectifications.

One of the listed companies in the zone is Jiangsu Hanvo Safety Product Co Ltd, which is a leading enterprise in Rudong's security equipment industry.

The listing of the company has not only provided Hanvo with the initial capital for high-end projects and improved operational efficiency but also played an effective role in driving the resource recombination among similar enterprises and attracting a large number of enterprises in related industries.

Jiangsu Jonnyma New Material Co Ltd, a producer of high-strength high-modulus polyethylene, the key raw material in Hanvo’s security products, plans to go public this year.

According to local authorities, the listing of Jonnyma will contribute to Rudong's effort to become a national hub for high-strength high-modulus polyethylene production.
