The sixth Golden Bull Prize for outstanding enterprises in Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was held on May 22.

The prize this year included rewards for outstanding taxpayers and enterprises with outstanding contributions.

At the event, 29 enterprises were honored with the Golden Bull Prizes for their outstanding contributions to the economic and high-quality development of the county.

Among them was Jiangsu Jiujiujiu Technology Co Ltd, a provincial high-tech enterprise that specializes in lithium batteries and chemical raw materials.

Last year, the company achieved a taxable turnover of 3.8 billion yuan ($538.89 million) and paid 665 million yuan in taxes, ranking seventh among taxpayers in Nantong.

Zhou Xinji, Party secretary and chairman of the company, said at the award ceremony that they will continue to explore the new energy industry and aim to become a leading enterprise in the field of lithium batteries.

Zhou was also awarded as the outstanding entrepreneur at the ceremony.

In addition, Nantong Cata Chemical Technology Co Ltd and seven other companies were honored as outstanding taxpayers, with their payable taxes exceeding 100 million yuan.

At the ceremony, 30 employees and 20 management personnel were also awarded for their hard work.
