Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, will work to bring in more projects, according to a recent promotional conference on favorable policies for enterprises.

Authorities at the conference stressed that more efforts should be made to provide customized services for enterprises and create a better business environment to attract more investment.

Located in Tongzhou, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone plays an important role in attracting high-tech projects.

In January, the zone sent a delegation to Beijing to visit clients and attract projects.

According to local authorities, the zone has been closely watching two projects in Beijing for a long time. They are expected to boost the zone’s industrial development.

In February, the zone launched 16 industrial projects with a combined value of 8.32 billion yuan ($1.19 billion).

This year, it aims to introduce more than 50 key industrial projects.

In addition, the Shigang technology industrial zone is an important way to bring more projects to the district.

In 2022, the zone introduced 10 projects worth 100 million yuan and started construction on five projects.

The zone has also held a series of activities to improve its business environment and attract more investment.
