HAETDZ boosts high-quality industrial development
The Hai'an economic and technological development zone in East China's Jiangsu province has been pursuing high-quality industrial development in recent years.
Last year, the zone added 51 new enterprises above the designated size, three national "little giant" enterprises, and 19 provincial specialized and sophisticated enterprises.
During the same period, three enterprises in the county were designated provincial service-oriented manufacturing enterprises.
The zone has also been focusing on boosting the innovative development of local enterprises.
Jiangsu Fanhua Applied Materials Technology Co Ltd is one of the high-tech enterprises in the zone. Since hiring Dr. Wang Chunhua, who specializes in the field of electronic glazing, the company has become a leading enterprise of its kind in the world.
Authorities have also provided local enterprises with funds to develop their high-tech projects.
For example, three projects related to lightweight and high-rigidity alloy material in Nantong Apalt Technology Co Ltd have received a total of 40 million yuan ($5.77 million) in subsidies.
In addition, authorities have set up service windows for talents and launched agent services for enterprises to create a better business environment in the zone.
