Newspaper museum in Nantong draws the crowds

The Ni Jian Collection Museum of Newspapers, located in Jiangchuan village, Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has become a popular tourism destination in recent years.
The owner of the museum, Ni Jian, who once worked as a reporter for Nantong Daily and Jianghai Evening News, has spent 43 years collecting newspapers. More than 100, 000 newspapers are on display in the museum, with the oldest copy being about 300 years old.
Many of the newspapers collected in the museum document the significant events that have occurred in Nantong, including the development of the home textile industry, a pillar industry in the city.
The museum receives more than 10,000 visitors annually.
