Mayor Jiang Feng presides over the work of the Wuxi municipal government and is also in charge of work related to finance, auditing, and planning.
Wang Kai oversees the daily operations of the Wuxi municipal government and handles responsibilities related to development and reform, major projects, energy, among others. He also supports financial and auditing work.
Vice-Mayor Ma Liang oversees ecological environment efforts, pollution control of Taihu Lake, and water conservancy initiatives.
Vice-Mayor Zhang Zhen oversees education, agriculture and rural development, rural vitalization, health, veterans' affairs, army-civilian support, medical security, grain, and material reserves.
Vice-Mayor Zhang Lijun handles responsibilities related to human resources and social security, natural resources, housing and urban-rural development, urban management, municipal landscaping, transportation, and postal services.
Vice-Mayor Zhou Wendong oversees work related to technology, industry, information technology, State-owned property management, market supervision, and communication.
Vice-Mayor Lu Min oversees tasks related to ethnic and religious affairs, civil affairs, culture, cultural relics, broadcasting and television, tourism, sports, women, children, and people with disabilities.
Vice-Mayor Tan Yongsheng is in charge of the works related to public security, judicial affairs, legal affairs, as well as complaints and petitions.
