There's just a couple of days left until 2025, which means it's time to bid farewell to 2024. Come to Wuxi and ring in the New Year with a firework display, a concert, or an exhibition. Here are some of the activities on offer:
Firework shows
Wuxi Sunac Land will offer firework shows and a countdown to the New Year, with a Ferris wheel displaying the countdown digits.
In addition to firework shows, the Lingshan Mountain scenic area will offer drone performances, bell-striking for good fortune, an intangible cultural heritage-themed bazaar, and a welcome event for the first rays of sun in the New Year.
Nianhua Bay scenic area will highlight the 100-meter-long fire dragon show, integrating an iron flower show, a firework show, and a firing skirt dance.
In Yaohu Town from Dec 28, 2024 to Jan 1, 2025, visitors will be treated to a sacrifice ceremony, have the opportunity to try meals prepared for local kilnmen, enjoy storytelling and Chinese-style performances on the street, admire a millennia-old shehuo ritual performance (a collection of traditional folk shows), and of course, watch firework shows.
