Young entrepreneurs from the Yangtze River Delta and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area showed their interest in further cooperation with Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province during a meeting with Zhao Jianjun, mayor of Wuxi, on April 6.
They said that Wuxi is an attractive investment and business destination as it has a strong economy, high level of opening up, favorable business environment, and beautiful urban landscape.
They also showed a willingness to bring resources and talent to Wuxi and draw on each other's strengths in industrial development and scientific innovation.
Following the meeting, the launch ceremony of the Young Chinese Entrepreneurs' Trip to Wuxi was held, marking the opening of the YRD-Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue activity.
Mayor Zhao briefed them on Wuxi's economic and social development, as well as the city's cooperation with the Greater Bay Area.
He noted that Wuxi will ramp up efforts to become more friendly to young people and create a first-class business climate to make it easier for young entrepreneurs to innovate and start businesses.
The mayor also encouraged more young entrepreneurs to build a presence in Wuxi.
