Xinghua city in Jiangsu province has launched an exciting two-day winter tour, promising a blend of bird watching, reed viewing, culinary delights, and historical exploration.

The tour begins on day one at the Xuma Wetland, where visitors can stroll along boardwalks through a misty haven for migratory birds. Flocks of wild ducks leave ripples in the water, while white storks and egrets glide gracefully overhead.
The nearby Lizhong Water Forest Park hosts over 60,000 rare birds, including egrets and owls, offering an immersive bird-watching experience for visitors.

At Yangchadang in the Lixiahe National Wetland Park, endless reeds sway gently, resembling a soft "winter snow". Recently, flocks of swans have added to these picturesque scenes.
As night falls, visitors head to the ancient town of Shagou to embark on a culinary journey, savoring authentic water town flavors.
The second day of the tour starts at the Shagou Ancient Town, where traditional fishing scenes come alive. Visitors can witness and partake in such arts as net weaving and cormorant fishing. The folk museum showcases old fishing tools, offering deep insights into the local fishing culture.

The tour concludes at Xinghua's Dazong Lake Scenic Area, renowned for its exquisite seafood. After a sumptuous meal of the lake's prized crabs, tourists can stroll along the serene lakeside, enjoying the tranquil winter landscape. For a different perspective, a boat ride offers a stunning view of the lake's winter beauty.
