Visitors from all over the country are now flocking to the Qianduo Cole Flower Scenic Area in Xinghua city, East China's Jiangsu province, to appreciate the glorious flowers.
The Duotian agro system, the unique raised-field agricultural system in the area, whose fields are over 1 meter above the water surface, is the star attraction. Cole flowers planted in the fields and the crisscrossing water network create a magnificent picture.
Starting from late March, cole flowers in the scenic area have bloomed one after another.

Tourists arrive from the early morning, either climbing onto the observation deck to overlook the golden blossoms or taking boats through the water networks to view flowers from different angles.
This year, early maturing flower varieties were introduced. Right now, the early maturing experimental variety Yingchun 1 has entered its peak flowering period and has become the first batch of blossoms to welcome guests.
Through variety improvements and cultivation technology optimization, the flowering period of cole flowers there is being extended from more than 20 days to around 40 days.
The best flower viewing period this year is from March 25 to mid-April, with the scenic area expected to receive over 1.5 million visitors.
