Two reading spaces in Xinghua city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, were recently included on a list of "new public cultural spaces" in 2025, as announced by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
One of them is the Lu Hua Li book bar, located in Qianduo town, surrounded by picturesque scenery and featuring an elegant style.

The second is the Jiangsu Phoenix Xinhua Bookstore Group's Xinghua Branch (Nanjin Road Store), with four floors occupying a total area of 5,000 square meters.
The books there cover various fascinating categories, such as humanities and the social sciences, literature and art, children's education, natural science and technology, as well as cultural education.
The big bookstore nonetheless sports a traditional and simple bookish atmosphere, as well as integrating regional characteristics and delving into the rich cultural heritage of the water town.
In the bookstore, people can encounter multiple cultural reading scenes with special Xinghua characteristics, including the magnificent achievements of ancient sages.
