Xinghua city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, will hold its beer and lobster festival from July 19 to Aug 3, quenching the thirst of visitors and offering them a delicious feast during the scorching summer.
Held in the Wujindang tourist resort, the festival will consist of 11 cooking stands, with mouthwatering delicacies including lobsters, cold dishes, stir-fried dishes and snacks.
Eight wine stands will also be available, stocking top beer brands like Budweiser and Tsingtao, as well as Xinghua's fine local wines.
A giant round stage in the square along the river is the dining area for visitors, which can accommodate the dining needs of about 1,000 people at a go. What's more, folks can experience a diverse range of activities during the festival including Xinghua dialect storytelling, 3D water curtain movies, and light shows.
During the festival, free night buses will be put on, with the starting stations at the Xinghua Changjiu International Hotel and at the Xinghua Wanda Plaza. The departure times from the starting station will start at 5:30 pm, while the return times will be from 9:30 pm, at 30 minute intervals.
A total of 468 parking spaces for motor vehicles, 80 backup parking spaces and 400 non-motor vehicle parking spaces will be provided.
