Xinghua city, administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, recently launched its first batch of 15 health service stations, offering residents medication services with higher quality and standards and more efficiency.
Market regulation authorities expect the initiative to improve the quality of life of people and serve public health.
The stations are now providing convenient services such as guidance on medications and equipment, telephone and online consultations, the establishment of health records and self-service measurements of blood pressure and blood sugar.
In addition, under the auspices of the Xinghua bureau of market regulation, the heads of the stations have conducted promotions in local communities, plugging their services to residents and offering various health volunteer service activities.
Taking the establishment of health service stations as an opportunity, the Xinghua bureau of market regulation will urge retail pharmacies to actively improve their service quality and strengthen social responsibility awareness in the future – realizing the role of retail pharmacies in guiding drug use, promoting health concepts and providing convenient and beneficial services.
