The much-anticipated Lixia River Music Festival will be held on successive weekends starting on July 28 and through to Aug 20 at the Lixia River National Wetland Park – located in Xinghua city, administered by Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province.

The performances will feature hip hop, rock, pop and other music forms.
"We'll use a concave stage for the festival, which can bring the audience a closer interactive experience while ensuring safety," said Wang Xiong, stage director of the festival.
Unlike conventional music festivals that accommodate over 10,000 people at a time, the Lixia River Music Festival will be held over four weekends – so the numbers of tickets issued for each performance will be kept under 5,000.
In addition, during the music festival, Xinghua will arrange two special vehicle routes to transport the audience. A total of 40 buses will be involved, with 10 buses on standby to prevent passenger overloading.
