The Xinghua International Condiments Industry Cluster has fully settled in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – and it aims to develop into a leading domestic and international force.
The complex is currently home to over 200 manufacturers, with a total investment of over 20 billion yuan ($2.8 billion). All 10 factories in its A-region have now started operating and the construction of 12 factories in the B-region is ongoing.
The establishment of the cluster is a move to expand into the domestic prefabricated dishes market, whose scale is expected to exceed 1 trillion yuan by 2026.

To follow the trend, the zone decided to build an 8-square-kilometer condiments industry cluster and equip it with 1 million square meters of factories. It has also leveraged Xinghua's cold chain logistics supply center, to expand distribution channels for cluster manufacturers.
Management reforms have also been conducted to take the road of flat management, corporatized operations and market-oriented operations.
According to the latest statistics, in August 2022 over 10,000 people were engaged in seasoning production, processing and sales in Xinghua, with an annual industrial scale hitting 30 billion yuan.
Nowadays, more than 50,000 Xinghua locals are engaged in the seasoning industry, with the city's seasoning industrial scale accounting for 18 percent of the country's total.
