Ten national-level Yangtze River-themed tourist routes were unveiled by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on May 5, with the Xinghua Duotian Irrigation and Drainage System included in one route.
Located in Xinghua, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, the system was recognized as a World Heritage Irrigation Structure in 2022. It includes embankments, irrigation and drainage channels, and water gates, and has functions such as drainage, irrigation, flood control, navigation, and soil and water conservation.
