A practice and research group from Beijing Normal University, including 17 international students, paid a visit to Xinghua, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, on April 29.
The international students hailed from 13 countries including South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Argentina, Thailand, Tanzania and Australia.
During the visit, works that had pocketed the fifth Shi Naian Literary Award were presented as gifts for the group.

The group enjoyed the idyllic countryside in Dongluo and Chenyang villages of Qianduo town.
"Xinghua has done a good job of promoting the construction of beautiful rural areas and developing ecotourism. The area has great significance as a demonstration zone for the rest of the world," said Wen Huichang, an overseas professor from Beijing Normal University.
A cooperation agreement was also reached by Beijing Normal University Business School and Taizhou, which aims to build an exchange platform for international students and the city.
