A group of over 200 robots are nowadays seen as special force for productivity in the Xinghua High-tech Zone – located in Xinghua city in East China's Jiangsu province – with their intelligent output markedly improving the efficiency of resident businesses.
In point of fact, Automated Guided Vehicle, or AGV robots, six-axis robots and other types of robots are currently working in Jiangsu Xingda Steel Tyre Cord Co Ltd.

Director Li Yufeng said that a total of 2,416 robots were used in phase I of the company's project and they were all produced by the latest configurations and techniques - greatly enhancing the efficiency of the business.
In response to an urgent demand for goods, the factory of Jiangsu New Hongda Group deployed four robots on a 24-hour shifts starting on Jan 25.
Xu Koulin, a welder with nearly 10 years' experience there, said that the welding quality of robots was more stable than humans, as welding parameters were set in advance.
Elsewhere, Golden Bridge Welding Materials (Jiangsu) has adopted 13 copper plating intelligent production lines that are 66 meters long and each line only needs one person to monitor it.
At present, with the help of robots, the main task of the human labor force is to operate within certain, confined and set procedures, leading to a 90 percent reduction in labor intensity, said Yao Xuegang, general manager of the company.
