During the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Taizhou is set to hold over 400 activities in its cultural venues and tourist attractions, offering a chance to experience the charm of the traditional festival in a joyful atmosphere.
The Fengcheng River Scenic Area will host a moonlight music concert, mooncake DIY party, and lantern riddle guessing games.
The Qinhu River Scenic Area will hold a garden party during the holiday, which will recreate the bustling scene of the Mid-Autumn Festival market in ancient times, giving visitors the chance to recite poems, taste crab, and admire the bright moon overhead.
In addition, the Jiangyan Museum will hold a hanfu night event, providing experiences such as tea art and sachet making. At the Taizhou Art Museum, paintings and calligraphy by famous artists will be available for viewing.
Jingjiang city, administered by Taizhou, will hold consumption promotion activities for the upcoming festival, focusing on distinctive catering, as well as agricultural exhibitions.
Taizhou will also offer a raft of services to improve people's holiday experience. The Taizhou Museum will provide free explanations and guided tours for visitors. Qilin Bay Scenic Area in Hailing district will be free of charge.
