The touring 29th National Photographic Art Exhibition opened on Aug 16 at the Taizhou Art Museum – located in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province.
Running to Aug 25, the exhibition features 170 selected works from a vast pool of over 288,000 entries submitted from across China – making it a significant event in the photography community.
The event aims to convey a deep love for life, reflect on contemporary times and pursue artistic expression.
Visitors can expect to see stunning representations of China's breathtaking landscapes, the happiness of its people and the nation's prosperity.
Among the displayed works, 21 are by local Jiangsu photographers – showcasing the unique stories and modern developments of the region.
On the opening day, more than 300 photographers and enthusiasts from cities across the province – including Nanjing, Changzhou and Yangzhou – gathered to appreciate and discuss the artworks. The event also included a lecture by Liu Luyu, a prominent figure in the photography community, who provided insights into the works on display.
