The 2024 Asia Triathlon Cup Taizhou was held with gusto on May 11, attracting 804 athletes from a dozen countries and regions to the Qinhu Lake Scenic Area – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.
Participants from China, Australia, Kazakhstan and more battled it out on the challenging course, showcasing the spirit of athletic endurance .
The competition unfolded across Qinhu Lake wetland park and Qinhu Road, featuring swimming, cycling and running segments on a circular track.
Athletes swam two laps in Qinhu Lake, cycled 40 kilometers on Qinhu Road and ran 10 kilometers around the lake before sprinting to the finish line at the grandstand square.

Hosted by the China Triathlon Sports Association, the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and the Taizhou municipal government, the event boasted very high standards and served as a qualifying event for the upcoming Paris Summer Olympics.
With the final running sprint relocated to the grandstand square, spectators enjoyed a thrilling view of the action-packed finish.
