The Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently launched a list of 149 top-quality national rural tourism routes – themed "Orange, Yellow, Orange, Green – Beautiful Countryside Scenery" – with a choice spot in Taixing city included.
The ministry chose Yinda village in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – where tourists can taste local delicacies, go fishing and pick grapes, among other activities.
Leveraging its great ecological and environmental advantages, Yinda village is striving to develop a river scenic belt and local featured greenery and plants.
It is also deeply exploring its local folk culture and it often holds a wide range of activities, such as lantern festivals and fruit-picking activities.
Its rich and colorful festival activities, wonderful natural environment and unique village style are attracting more and more tourists to go sightseeing there.
To date, the village has been awarded such titles as National Civilized Village, Jiangsu's Most Beautiful Village, Characteristic Pastoral Village in Jiangsu and Leisure and Sightseeing Agriculture Demonstration Village in Jiangsu.
