Shenzhen International Logistics Development Co Ltd's smart supply chain industrial park project – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – broke ground on Oct 17.
Recognized as a 2023 Jiangsu major project, the industrial park will be situated in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone.
With a total investment of $100 million, it will have a floor space of 80,600 square meters and is expected to generate sales of 1 billion yuan ($136.7 million) annually when at full capacity.
"The park will fully leverage the international industrial supply chain and market position of the company, to build a functional system combining a supply chain infrastructure platform and an industry chain service platform," said Qiao Jian, general manager of the company in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces.
As a State-owned listed company, Shenzhen International Logistics Development Co Ltd has now established 55 projects in 38 Chinese cities – including Tianjin, Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhengzhou and Wuhan.
