The School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering of Jiangsu University made a visit to the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, on July 6.
Led by Wang Ruochen, vice-president of the school, the delegation learned about the innovative development, talent recruitment policy and the industry-university-research pattern of the zone's automobile industry.
During a conference, Wang exchanged ideas with representatives from the zone regarding the intelligent manufacturing and the new energy vehicle industry.
Jiangsu University will give full play to its diversified disciplines and talents to build a provincial automobile testing center with the zone, thus promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, said Wang.
Looking ahead, Jiangsu University will take active moves to cooperate with the zone and create more sci-tech achievements that will benefit more enterprises.
The School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering of Jiangsu University is situated in Zhenjiang city, and has a history of over 60 years.
