The Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, held a patent conversion project launch and a school-enterprise cooperation matchmaking meeting on Nov 13.
In recent years, the zone has moved to create a patent conversion operations platform for intellectual property. In 2024, it was picked for the Jiangsu Province Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Plan Patent Conversion Special Project.
During the meeting, the Taixing High-tech Zone Industrial Intellectual Property Operations Center was launched.
Zhang Peng, vice-mayor of Taixing, said he hoped that by taking the meeting as an opportunity, the zone and city departments would extend their cooperation with scientific research institutions and universities.
This would help build a better innovation ecosystem, provide higher quality patent services and create a more convenient business environment for enterprises.
Looking ahead, plans are for the new center to highlight key industries and bolster more high-quality technological achievements, so these achievements can move from laboratories to production lines.
