The Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, has been encouraging its resident companies in recent years to embrace smart and digital transformation, in a bid to boost their productivity and management levels.
For local manufacturers above a designated size, those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.81 million) or more, the zone has offered digital diagnosis services and established digital transformation archives for them, helping them tackle difficulties encountered in the process of their transformation and upgrading.
Since the start of the year, the zone has completed diagnostic work on 55 businesses and has invited experts from industry institutes and benchmark enterprises to conduct on-site consultations for companies on more than 200 occasions.
Moreover, the zone has also assisted enterprises in embracing cloud services and in applying to be star-rated cloud business enterprises.
This year, a total of 16 enterprises in the zone were included in the first group of designated star-rated cloud business enterprises, including two five-star enterprises and six four-star enterprises.
In addition, the zone has leveraged the leading role of benchmark enterprises in order to carry out the intelligent transformation of its companies.
Taking Jiangsu Cosine Electric as an example, the zone supported the company's plans to build a provincial enterprise industrial internet platform in the field of digital twin transformer intelligent manufacturing.
