Jiangsu Nanji Machinery, a key manufacturer of Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has reported strong development momentum in the current year.
The company is engaged in producing and operating ship pollution prevention equipment, ship power system shaft rudder products, special equipment and other cabin mechanical equipment.
The ship ballast water management system is the company's star product. Recently in the assembly shop, workers have been assembling a newly improved ship ballast water management system.
On the basis of meeting product performance targets, R&D staff have reduced the footprint and weight of the device through technological breakthroughs, freeing up more space for ships.
In the wake of the refinement, the footprint of the device can be reduced by 20 percent and the weight can be reduced by 10 percent.
Targeting the goal of becoming a leader in ship pollution prevention equipment, the group has continued to optimize its innovation ecosystem, to anchor core technology breakthroughs and overcome industrial technology bottlenecks.
In the first half of the year, the company's invoiced sales hit 135 million yuan ($18.80 million), a year-on-year increase of 33 percent.
