The Taixing High-tech Zone in East China's Jiangsu province is applying patent navigation in the development of its industry.
Patent navigation refers to embedding patent applications into industrial technology innovation, product innovation, organizational innovation, and business model innovation based on the utilization of patent information resources and patent analysis.
The Taizhou Intelligent Manufacturing (High-end Equipment Manufacturing) Patent Navigation Achievement Release Conference took place in the zone on July 22.
The aim of the event was to further foster the integration of patent navigation with industrial innovations and business enterprise technology upgrades.
An analysis report on the patent navigation of the EDZ's intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment manufacturing sectors was interpreted at the conference.
This introduced the concept to attendees and gave the project research background and implementation path for patent navigation, as well as analyzed the characteristics of the EDZ's intelligent manufacturing industry.
Moving forwards, plans are for the EDZ to continue to optimize the operation of its intelligent manufacturing navigation service base and its provincial patent operations center – and to accelerate the promotion of technology patenting and patent standardization in intelligent manufacturing.
There are also plans to assist enterprises in utilizing patent navigation trends to adjust their market layout and business strategies, thereby further enhancing their innovation and competitiveness.
