The Jiangsu Flue Gas Dust Removal and Desulfurization Engineering Research Center – located in the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently upgraded to become a provincial-level engineering research center.
Provincial-level engineering research centers are established by business enterprises, universities and research institutions with strong research and development capabilities and comprehensive academic and know-how strength.
That's in a bid to improve independent innovation capabilities, enhance regional industrial core competitiveness and serve the implementation of major strategic tasks and key projects.
Relying on the resources of parent company, manufacturer Jiangsu Landian Environmental Limited by Share Ltd, the engineering research center tackles key technology topics, like reducing smoke, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and black smoke emissions.
It has developed efficient ion membrane flue gas desulfurization and dust removals technology, established and improved product standards, inspections and testing specifications and systems.
The center has also co-established an integrated research and development platform for industry, university and research through cooperation with units like Southeast University in Nanjing city in Jiangsu.
The center boasts particular research and development advantages – as well as the ability to manufacture and implement technology development services – that are seen as being significant in developing China's environmental protection and circular economy.
