The Taixing High-tech Zone and the Yaowang sub-district – both located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – collected a swag of awards on May 25 at the city's meeting about high-quality development that took place over the course of last year.
The Taixing High-tech Zone was awarded third prize in the comprehensive assessment of development zones in 2023, first prize for its special work on the development of featured industries and third prize for its performance in land conservation and intensive development, among others.
The Yaowang sub-district, where the zone is located, secured first prize in the comprehensive assessment of Class III regions in 2023, as well as first prize for its financial special work and special work award for Party building, among others.
Looking ahead, plans are for both to maintain their focus on making greater contributions to the development of Taixing city.
