The Taixing bureau of human resources and social security, Yaowang sub-district and the Taixing High-tech Zone – all located in Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province – jointly held a job fair on April 29, to meet the employment needs of young people and local businesses.
Some 26 key resident companies participated in the event to attract young folks, with their staff distributing leaflets to provide jobseekers with detailed explanations of employment policies.
Preliminary estimates indicated that more than 320 jobseekers attended the fair to find work and they handed in 195 resumes, with 115 people signing expressions of interest with prospective employers.
The jobs fair also utilized online livestreaming platforms to provide job matching, policy consultations, skills training and other services to job hunters.
