The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is promoting cooperation by the zone, local sub-district and town in the current year.

That's in order to boost the sharing of information, resources, platforms and achievements in order to drum up more investment and projects.

A delegation from the zone, as well as from Taixing's Yaowang sub-district and Heshi town, on March 1 conducted visits to enterprises settled in Shenzhen city, in South China's Guangdong province in the pursuit of new business.

In the run-up to the Spring Festival, the head of a manufacturer of reducers in Yaowang heard some important information. Reducers are closed transmission devices used to reduce the speed and increase the torque of electric motors, internal combustion engines and other high-speed power sources.

He learned that upstream enterprises in its industry supply chain needed to expand their production capacity and urgently needed to find suitable land to invest in and construct support projects.

After assessing the situation, investment personnel of Yaowang sub-district quickly contacted the Taixing High-tech Zone. Both sides are currently holding in-depth talks.

"To achieve cooperation, we will refine investment indicators, economic indicators and fiscal revenue sharing data," said Jiang Jie, secretary of the Party working committee of the Taixing High-tech Zone and Yaowang sub-district.

He added that great efforts would also be made to improve the optimization of investment resources and the sharing of investment results – to achieving cross-regional industrial coordinated development.
