The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – held an investment promotion conference on Feb 24, aimed at bringing in much more funding and achieving a robust start to the year.
Among those attending was Ma Zhigang, director of Taixing's bureau of commerce. Others included officials from the Taixing High-tech Zone, the Yaowang sub-district and Heshi town in Taixing, as well as business marketing staff from the zone.
The zone's four special investment teams will now spend 15-30 days tackling 20 projects to seek out cooperation opportunities.
Jiang Jie, secretary of the zone's Party working committee, briefed attendees on the key points of investment promotion work in the current year.
He called on business marketing staff to carefully consider questions concerning purpose and operability before conducting business marketing. In addition, great efforts should also be made to connect to high-end platforms, raising capital and in talent-driven development, he added.
