Yaodai village in the Yaowang sub-district of Taixing city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – has been promoting rural vitalization to improve the quality of life of its residents.
The grassroots Party organization is seen as being an important driver of rural vitalization, with Yaodai's Party branch offering all-around services to locals.
The branch has actively attracted talent from outside and encouraged local people to come back to their hometown to be entrepreneurs.
For example, Yao Nianyuan returned to the village to start his own business producing doors, windows and curtain walls and his company now generates an annual output value of 100 million yuan ($13.95 million).
"Yaodai village is located in the Taixing High-tech Zone, which provides strong support for the integrated development of industries," said Ji Tao, an official from the village.
The village has accelerated the development of its service industry, with more than 10 service industry companies – including those in the fields of transportation and commerce – now established.

Moreover, Yaodai village has continued to upgrade its local infrastructure to ensure a good ecosystem and environment for residents. It has completed about 40 kilometers of road hardening, lighting and greening – and is striving to create a green landscape belt that integrates sightseeing, leisure and fitness.
