The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province – did really well last year in recruiting, technological innovation and in the creation of a sci-tech innovation ecosystem in 2023.
In the past year, the zone has regarded innovation as the first driving force for its high-quality development. What's more, it's promoted the transformation and upgrading of the industrial supply chain and supported the high-tech industrial clusters in the zone through the integration and utilization of innovation resources.
In 2023, the zone's technology transaction volume was worth 1.8 billion yuan ($251.43 million). A total of 114 high-level talents were brought in, 20 new high-tech enterprises were added, while 56 local science and technology innovation projects and 30 offshore innovation projects were launched.
Moreover, the zone has developed several high-end innovation platforms – including the Semiconductor Advanced Ceramic Materials Research Institute, the New Optoelectronic Materials Academician (Expert) Innovation Center, the Inspection and Testing Characteristics Industrial Park and the National Reducer Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center.
The zone has also been dedicated to attracting and retaining scientific and technological staffs, providing a full range of innovation and entrepreneurship services in 2023.
