The Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has substantially increased services for young talent, a process it's undertaken in recent years.
Based on its industrial directions, the zone has continued to release promotional policies on innovation and has staged entrepreneurship competitions and forums, among other things.
During the 2nd Jiangsu Conference for Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Exchange last month, the zone promoted collaboration in key technologies for new energy vehicle roof systems between Changzhou University in Jiangsu province and Defulai, an auto parts manufacturer in the zone.
To build a good ecosystem for talent, the zone has upgraded one-stop service centers for young people, as well as carried out inspections and tests of industrial parks and other sci-tech innovation service carriers – paving the way for better platforms and services for them.
Moreover, the zone has introduced cinemas, florists, bakeries and animation centers – as well as interaction spaces, such as creative workshops and shared classrooms – to improve the environment for young folks.
"Focusing on emerging and future industries, we will accelerate the attraction of emerging technology talent projects," said zone official Jiang Jie.
"We will select and reserve a batch of high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship projects, thereby transforming more scientific and technological achievements into new productive forces," Jiang added.
