Wincell Insulation Group's rubber and plastic production base in the Taixing Economic Development Zone of Taixing city, which is administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, has registered a significant increase in sales since the recent National Day holiday.
Just a few months ago, the company's flexible rubber and plastic insulation products were in high demand due to the construction of venues for the Asian Games in the capital city of Hangzhou in East China's Zhejiang province.
The growth of the company can be attributed to its close collaboration with Taixing's firm-university-research institute integration platform.

The company is just one of many that have benefited from this platform, which is aimed at bolstering the city's development.
The city has also prioritized business innovation and launched a raft of initiatives to foster the growth of technology-based small and micro-enterprises. These efforts have paid off as Taixing was inducted into the national innovative demonstration county (city) program list in April.
Jiangsu province recently released a list of strategic emerging industries and service industry standardization pilot projects for 2023. Among the companies on the list is Jiangsu Jingfei Energy Technology Co Ltd, which specializes in the research and development of solar photovoltaic components.
The company established a presence in the Taixing High-tech Zone in March 2021, and had invested over 70 million yuan ($9.59 billion) in advanced photovoltaic component production equipment.
According to Xie Haiyan, director of the Taixing city science and technology bureau, the city is gearing up to foster a thriving science and technology innovation ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to reshape the landscape of innovation and development across the entire region, promoting a brighter future for Taixing and its residents.
