A quality-focused workstation was launched on Sept 20 in the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province.
Its aim is to assist local enterprises in improving the development of their quality control systems.
Two specialist members of staff have been deployed to the workstation to support resident businesses in services like metrology, certification and recognition, inspection and testing, quality management, intellectual property and special equipment.
The facility will provide technical services, quality diagnosis, supply and demand matchmaking and consultations to assist local enterprises to solve their key quality control issues.
In recent years, the zone has guided over 50 of its companies to develop their quality control systems. As a result, 22 of them have been rated as provincial-level quality credit enterprises.
Looking ahead, plans are for the zone to continue to optimize its service model for enterprises and to improve its service efficiency in relation to specialized industries.
