A flexible transparent conductive film plant, to be operated by Jiangsu Xingqihang New Material Technology Co Ltd – located in the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is set to start production in April.
The company says its product has a world-leading performance and that it will fill the current gap in domestic flexible touch controls materials.
Its flexible transparent conductive film has adopted nano silver technology. The company's deputy general manager, Jin Shengsong, said it has the advantages of being ultra-thin, bend-resistant and has high sensitivity, allowing it to be touched by 10 fingers.
The company has developed an integrated and automated production line and only two people are required for its operation, while the industry in China often uses two processes for production, according to Wu Yixi, the facility supervisor.
When ramped up to full capacity, the plant is expected to produce 1 million functional film materials per year. The annual output of nano silver film materials will be 1.2 million square meters, and the annual production capacity of full-fitting curved car screens will be 100,000 units.
The company has invested 520 million yuan ($75.75 million) in projects in the Taixing High-tech Zone to date and will generate billing revenue of 600 million yuan when it hits capacity.
