Construction of the Caifu Center (Fortune Center) building – located in the Taixing High-tech Zone, in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province – is now underway, with delivery expected in October next year.
Recently, nearly 200 workers have been busy constructing the main structure of the building. With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($72.68 million), it is planned to have 24 floors.
The center will be equipped with office buildings, conference rooms and hotels, aiming to provide high-quality work and life services to the zone, said project manager Dong Changlong.
The service industry has become an important driving force in the city's economic and social development.
In January and February, Taixing has developed and conducted 43 service industry projects that cost at least 10 million yuan each, with a total investment of 13.39 billion yuan.
