The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – worked hard to promote its investment and boost construction projects in 2022.

Last year, the zone signed more than 36 projects each worth over 100 million yuan ($14.81 million). Of these, there were 14 projects each worth over 500 million yuan and four projects involving investment of over 1 billion yuan.
In addition, the zone also signed up three foreign investment projects and the total amount of foreign investment in actual use came in at $34.66 million.
The zone has moved forwards with its project construction step by step. Last year, it began construction of 18 new projects each involving more than 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 3.79 billion yuan – and there were four projects each involving over 500 million yuan.
What's more, the zone newly completed 13 projects over 100 million yuan and the actual completed investment was 3.69 billion yuan. Of these, there was one project involving capital expenditure of more than 1 billion yuan.
At present, a construction project for Fengxi Outlets is underway, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan. Its turnover is estimated to reach 500- 600 million yuan in the first year of operation.
