Representatives from 20 universities and recruit agencies in eight cities along the Yangtze River on Aug 15 visited the Taixing Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
They conducted on-site visits to resident companies like Jumpcan Pharmaceutical Group and GEM (Jiangsu) Cobalt Industry to learn about their corporate culture and employment needs.
Topics such as school-enterprise cooperation, talent nurturing and student internships and employment were also discussed during the visit, with the goals of striving for employment opportunities for graduates and expanding platforms for deeper school-enterprise cooperation.
Taixing's favorable policies for talented people were presented at a symposium and representatives exchanged ideas based on their respective advantages, experiences and situations.
In recent years, Taixing has made the employment of college graduates a top priority, with efforts in expanding job positions, strengthening policy guarantees and boosting guidance.
Since the start of the year, it's held over 20 special recruitment fairs for college graduates, providing a communications bridge between students and business enterprises for employment.
