Yu Hui, an employee from Taixing Huasheng Fine Chemical Co Ltd in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, won second prize in the recently concluded provincial-level chemical analysis vocational skills competition.
The competition is divided into theoretical knowledge and operational skills. The operational skills competition assesses a person’s actual operational capabilities in chemical analysis, chromatographic analysis, spectrophotometric analysis, and safety hazard investigation.
The Taixing Economic Development Zone, where Huasheng Fine Chemical is situated, organized a selection of contestants upon hearing of the competition. It then chose four seeded players to compete in the event.
In recent years, the zone's federation of trade unions has been committed to providing platforms for employees to learn new skills, exchange experiences, and showcase their talents, thus creating a social atmosphere that respects both labor and valued skills.
