In recent years, Wincell Insulation Co Ltd, located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, in Taixing, East China's Jiangsu province, has taken the path of green and low-carbon development. This has brought both economic and environmental benefits to the company.
In the crushing workshop of Wincell, plastic scraps are crushed and processed to be transformed into new-type sound insulation products.
"Our new technique for utilizing waste creates nearly no secondary pollution during the production process, which brings economic benefits," said Sun Zhijun, director of the crushing workshop.
Highlighting green development, the company also focuses on photovoltaics. Its photovoltaic power station, which was co-built with State Power Investment Corporation Limited last March, has reduced Wincell's electricity costs by 23 percent. It has also reduced the enterprise's carbon dioxide emissions by 14,700 metric tons.
Wincell is a company that specializes in green thermal insulation materials and environment-friendly noise reduction materials. In recent years, it has been heavily promoting green development in its production processes, thus making it a green and low-carbon development leader in Jiangsu province.
