An industry-university-research exchange of know-how was recently held by the city of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics.
The institute, under the jurisdiction of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted the event at its premises on May 30 in Lanzhou city in West China's Gansu province.
During the exchange, six experts from the institute were hired as innovation tutors for Taizhou businesses in demand and technical analysis.
A strategic cooperation agreement was also signed for the joint development of new materials, resources and energy, health and other fields.
Nine Taizhou companies attended, with one signing a cooperative agreement and three reaching preliminary intentions.
The institute started exchanges and cooperation with Taizhou as early as 2008 and it will now give full play to its talent, projects and technological advantages to support Taizhou's scientific innovations, said Wang Qihua, secretary of the Party committee of the institute.
