A brand named Siji Youguo representing the fruit locally cultivated in Binjiang town of Taixing city, administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, was released recently to enhance the profile of locally produced fruit.
The four featured categories of strawberries, honey pears, grapes and cherries have been cultivated in the town.

At present, 17 villages in Binjiang promote the large-scale planting of fruit and vegetables, with their combined annual output reaching 240 million yuan ($34.02 million).
The timing of production and sales keep shifting throughout the year, thus ensuring every season has enough mature fruit.
In addition, Binjiang has utilized a cold chain center and an e-commerce platform to conduct unified brand packaging and linkage marketing.
Last year, the collective operating income of 31 villages in Binjiang exceeded 700,000 yuan, while the per capita disposable income of rural residents hit 32,615 yuan. The town ranked 37th among the top 100 towns in China in terms of comprehensive strength in 2022.
