According to the Taixing development and reform commission, the city's National Rural Industrial Integration Development Demonstration Park project has entered its final construction phase and is poised to begin operating soon.
This provincial key project, which has received central budgetary funding for two consecutive years, boasts a total investment of 82.96 million yuan ($11.65 million). It stands as the sole project in Taizhou city supported by the rural industrial integration development special program for rural vitalization.
The park encompasses several core functional areas, including an integrated development innovation center, an industrial incubation base, a food safety testing platform, and agricultural product preservation and logistics facilities.
A pivotal component is the China Institute of Future Agricultural Products Processing and Innovation, co-established by the Institute of Food Science and Technology CAAS and the Jiangsu Taixing Agricultural Product Processing Park.

This institute serves as the park's innovation hub, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as precision nutrition, intelligent equipment, AI, and new food materials. Its establishment is part of efforts to closely integrate national strategic scientific forces with local industrial platforms, aiming to propel regional industrial upgrading and provide a replicable model for rural industrial integration across China.
