An exhibition showcasing paintings and calligraphy works created by four renowned Taizhou artists — Dai Qi, You Zhiping, Zhao Fei, and Huang Xin — is being staged at the Fengqi Outlets Shopping Mall in Taxing, Jiangsu province, and will run through Oct 31.

The masterpieces feature different styles: Dai's calligraphy works embody ancient techniques; You's rubbings blend traditional stele textures with contemporary compositions; Zhao's landscape paintings express emotions through natural scenery; Huang's calligraphy combines tradition with innovation, showcasing a young artist's exploration of brushstroke rhythms.
Notably, Fengqi Outlets has launched a program for youth, allowing artists under 30 to submit works anonymously. Consumers vote monthly via QR codes, with the highest-voted artist receiving a gallery window display and a 10,000-yuan ($1,407) fund for creation.
A series of public educational activities will also be held during the exhibition period to further promote interaction between art and the public.
